Workshop Session 1
This session was conducted on Saturday morning and covered various aspects of leading the congregation as a member of the Praise & Worship Team. It was led by Elder Keith Smith and was very interactive.

There is a Christmas gift for you under the Tree. Have you collected yours yet? Did you look under the Tree for your Christmas gift? I did collect mine but it was not in December. In fact mine was waiting under the Tree for many years until I realized what I was missing. However it is not too late to collect yours, it is still under the Tree with your name on it and no one else can claim it. It will return to the sender when you die. Do not let it miss you this Christmas.
What Tree am I talking about? Continue reading Your Christmas Gift is Still Under The Tree?

See you there.
As I reflect on the past year and the start of a new year, two words come to mind.
The first word is Responsibility (RESPONSE + ABILITY).
The second word is Accountability (ACCOUNT + ABILITY).
Today, I will look at Responsibility and give my take on the matter.
I broke this word up into two separate words – “Response” and “Ability” so we can delve deeper into it. Continue reading A GOAL FOR THE NEW YEAR?
Today was my turn to take our daughter to school. The drive to our destination was uneventful, however on my way back, I heard that dreaded “hissing” sound, yes one of the front tires went flat. Before I even pulled the car to the side of the road, I started to complain (sounds familiar). Continue reading Give thanks, it could have been worse.
Psalm 119 v 11 – Thy word have I hid in mine heart that I might not sin against thee.
Is God’s word in your heart? If it is, you will have less of an appetite for sin, however if it isn’t, your desire will be to satisfy your carnal cravings. Continue reading Is God’s Word in your heart?
